Day 95 (4/5/11) - Travelin' Man

The boys were excited to receive their passports in the mail.  (Mommy's, however, has yet to arrive.  With only 4 mailing days left until we leave for Jamaica, I'm getting a little nervous!  This is calling it way too close for comfort!)

Although this fairly spur-of-the-moment trip is uncharacteristically spontaneous for us, we're excited to venture outside of our usual comfort zone.  We're eager to travel and explore the world together as a family and, in the process, make memories to last a lifetime.  Mark Twain said it best:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

  1. And remember as you begin this voyage, “In America, there are two classes of travel: First Class, and with children.” (Robert Benchley). But have hope “No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow." – Lin Yutang

    Have fun and enjoy!
    Love ya all.
