Day 154 (6/3/11) - Homemade Fingerprint Flowerpots

When Granddaddy and Grami Shar stopped by for a brief overnight visit, the boys presented Grami Shar with a belated (Grand) Mother's Day present.  They made a flowerpot for each grandmother by painting a terra cotta pot khaki and white, then decorating it with fingerprint garden animals.  Using each boys' fingerprints, we made frogs, bees, ladybugs, caterpillars, spiders, and birds.  We figured the grandmothers would appreciate having something homemade so they could recall exactly how the boys' fingerprints looked when they were very small!
