On a side note, Ryan is becoming such a big football fan. He's wearing blue and orange to show his support for the Chicago Bears. And, he stayed up past 10 pm tonight to watch the Steelers beat the Jets.

Day 23 (1/23/11) - Sweet Treat
The boys peer through the oven window to watch their apple volcanoes erupt. During halftime of the NFC championship game, we made apple volcanoes which were cored apples stuffed with raisins, apricots, rolled oats, and honey, topped with butter. Near the end of the cooking time, we added marshmallows and watched them erupt, or melt down the sides of the apple. Although they were fun to make, the boys seemed to prefer the ingredients raw rather than cooked.
