Ryan keeps his friends close, even when he's sleeping. "Blue Puppy" has been a faithful friend for almost 6 months now. The others are recent additions, and can apparently be replaced at will. For example, on the left-hand side of the picture, you can barely make out the pink form of "Super Pig," who was a constant companion and then one day inexplicably relegated to the nightstand shelf. Ryan's other current bedtime buddies include "Green and White Monkey," "Glub Glub" (the fish he was given at Siani Hospital last week for being such a good big brother), and "Ice Cream" (the plastic, wind-up, knock-off Zsu Zsu pet that came in his Burger King kids' meal).
The original gang, who accompanied Ryan nearly everywhere for his first few years of life, included: "Puzzle Duck" (yes, he really slept with a puzzle piece in his crib every night for almost a year), "Giraffe" and "Zebra" (animals from the Little People Zoo), "Spot," and "Monkey."
Oh Michelle, you will cherish the original gang forever, because they are "filled/stuffed" with love and memories!
