Day 64 (3/5/11) - Firefighters

Today we went to a birthday party that was held at the local firehouse.  The little boy's dad, who is a flight medic with Mike, is a long-time member of the fire department.  So, he was able to give the kids rides around the parking lot on the fire engine.  Ryan declared it one of the most fun birthday parties he's ever been to! 

Gavin attracted a lot of attention at the party with his blond curls spilling out from under his plastic fire helmet, sucking his thumb, and stumbling after the big kids as they ran around pretending to be firefighters.  I didn't get any pictures of him at the party, but I was able to catch him playing with Ryan's firetruck later in the afternoon.
