First Pair of Shoes

Now that Gavin is walking, we thought it was time for our barefoot beach boy to start wearing shoes.  So today we headed to the same Stride Rite store where we bought Ryan's first pair of shoes about three years ago.  The shoes we purchased have flexible soles and special treads designed to provide better balance and control and minimize stumbles and tumbles.  Time will tell if that's just a clever marketing gimmick.  Regardless, he looks super cute in his preppy new kicks!  Gavin did surprisingly well walking in shoes for the first time, but he did have Ryan with him for support every step of the way.
